The Pyramids of Egypt always appeared to be one of the easiest scenes to paint but I came across difficulties as I was unsure how to add atmosphere and life. The painting is based on the pyramids of a day scene and the only thing surrounding them is sand. I painted over and over the pyramids on several occasions until I eventually found colours that I was happy with. To create atmosphere and life I added clouds, water, life, high sand dunes and lantern lights. Please enjoy my vision of the Pyramids.
